Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Program Director

to provide primary leadership in our outpatient clinic and community-based services for teens and families struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues.  Responsibilities include program development, clinical supervision, advocacy and public relations, and direct service to support the high clinical integrity of our programming.

Qualified candidates are licensed in social work/mental health, hold substance abuse credentials, have demonstrated leadership success, excellent clinical skills with adolescents and families, and are enthusiastic team collaborators.

 

Counseling Teachers

Centerpoint’s Counseling Teachers provide direct instruction, experiential education, and supportive counseling services in our alternative education and day treatment programs serving students with mental health and special education needs. Our ideal candidate will have skills with community-based experiential instruction, engaging strengths-based activities, and creative curriculum strategies based on the Vermont Standards and Framework.

Our Counseling Teachers come from a variety of dynamic backgrounds, with degrees in education/ special education, a core academic area, or social work/mental health.  Our Counseling Teachers have experience with high-needs adolescents, are excellent team collaborators, and are committed to creativity and innovation in secondary education.

Clinical Internships
